Plumbing, HVAC & Fire Protection Apprentice Programs
Apprentice Program is the name for the training programs offered through Midwestern Mechanical, Inc. The Apprentice Program offers programs in plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection.
Plumbing
- Plumbing Apprentices learn how to work on various plumbing systems. They include DMW (drain, waste, vent), potable water, boilers, hydronics, medical gas piping and steam. This is a 4 year program.
HVAC
- HVAC Apprentices become technicians qualified to work with furnaces, air conditioners and rooftop units in commercial, industrial and residential buildings. This is a 4 year program.
Fire Protection
- Fire Protection Apprentices gain the knowledge and skills to work with water-based fire protection systems in commercial, industrial and residential buildings. This is a 4 year program.

Midwestern Mechanical hosted a 4 day Medical Gas Certification Class put on by the South Dakota PHCC. Huge thank you to our teacher Bill McCormick of Compliance Inc. We had 23 Journeyman Plumbers from surrounding companies.
